For the new Gault & Millau magazine, brand unit developed the magazine design from scratch and defined the art direction for the photo library.

Published by Burda Verlag, the focus of the magazine lies on topics ranging from the world of high-end cuisine, wine to travel and lifestyle. But what do you offer an audience with a high level of knowledge and insight? You go one step further, look for surprises and offer new perspectives. It was important to convey expertise, but to present it honestly and in new formats. Showing the unknown in the known became a constant mantra. Especially through photographs we were able to create a closeness, adding authenticity to our content, such as culinary craftsmanship, without losing its essence of being special.
